June 23rd, 2009Flaphone updated
June 16th, 2009Flaphone webservice was updated today and we are glad to present some new features for our users. Now we got more than 110K registered users and we hope that they will like our update. We’ve added themes support, so you now can choose between Black and White themes, in the future we will add additional themes, maybe users will provide us with some new ideas about colors, icons, etc. It’s always better when you have the choice

I like White even more than Black… Ok, the next improvement is more advanced instant messaging system with styles and smiles, most people like to see smiles as images
To improve usability we added number type called “flaphone”, if you want to add another flaphone user to contact list - you need to use this type for now. And the most interesting feature of the release is File Transfer support. Now you can send files to each other if both have flash player 10 installed! For testing purposes file size is restricted for now (you can transfer files up to 5 MB), but later when we add P2P support we will remove the restriction.
. It’s all for now, stay tuned and you will see new interesting features in the fututre.
Bind CallMe to hostname
April 22nd, 2009Users suggested us to make it possible to bind CallMe widget to some hostname, so CallMe widget would work only if it was open from specified site. We found this feature useful and implemented hostname binding in the new release of Flaphone. Now in CallMe Settings you can see “Bind to host” checkbox, if you select it you’ll be able to enter hostname for widget binding, don’t forget to save your settings by clicking on “Save” button.

February 20th, 2009Now every flaphone user can make a call from flaphone to skype.
