Calls to Skype are now available

Now every flaphone user can make a call from flaphone to skype. You need to enter sip:skypeusername@skype (Example - you need to call skype user with username james - it will be sip:james@skype) while none(global) account selected for outgoing SIP calls and press the call button, skype user with skype_username will see incoming call from Flaphone. You can also use this feature for your CallMe widgets in the same way. We are testing this feature, so we need to have your feedback.

P.S. It will work if you are calling to Skype user who allows to receive incoming calls from skype users that aren’t in contact-list

    New flash player 10 has good Sound API and access to File system… we will check what can be done ;) Or will add this as server function sometime if that can’t be done by means of flash player

    It’s really great… Suggestion it enable to import all current Skype contact into as a group, and auto add “sip:” command, WoW perfect..

    Second, set a dial-plan to auto call out as you want to be i.e. Sip Call or P2P call.. Also great..

    3nd, this Flaphone API enable to support a USB Phone or RF USB Phone or Blue2s Earphone with KeyPad’s functions, i.e. 0 ~9/Send/Handup/Redial/..

    same problem as “musa” - can’t make calls to skype (sip:skypename@skype - calls from all people are allowed in skype).

    indeed it is working now, even that I didn’t change anything. For those you could be interested in it: its working too on my Nokia using FRING (if you want to use another SIP provider than fwd)

    Try again please, it will work. Sometimes it disconnects from Skype network due to some reasons.. it’s still in beta test.

    have my skype account into my flaphone accounts, and it receives my skype calls and foward to my sip phone?

    I can’t get skype or set up any SIP at all. Tried gizmo, skype, and another. Sent an email to support and maybe they can sort it out.

    Skype just fives me the service unavailable response as others above have stated.

    Hope this gets fixed soon.

    Ok….I did get skype to work. It was my skype settings for who I’d accept calls from giving me the problem. Seems to be working now though. Still struggling with gizmo and other SIP but hope to hear from someone soon about that.

    Не работает звонок на скайп ppcom.ru через ваш сервис (sip:ppcom.ru@skype), но работает через Gizmo (sip:ppcom.ru@opensky.gizmo5.com).
    У вас профилактика или просто про точку в скайп-имени не предусмотрели?

    “Connection can’t be established
    Code: 503
    Reason: For wholesale traffic, check http://www.voicetrading.com”

    Hello: I’ve been using this feature and it works fine. I want to forward those calls to landlines, using my Skype credit, but that function doesn’t work when the call is initiated from flaphone (I get a ‘user is unavailable’ message) Why?
