Немного информации о следующем flashphone.
После работы с реализациями RTMP протокола от сторонних компаний (Red5, Wowza) мы решили создать свою собственную, так как нам не нужны все функции, предоставляемые Flash Media Server. Наша реализация быстрее и проще, мы используем только необходимый функционал для наших сервисов. В следующем релизе flashphone появится поддержка H.263+ и H.264 видеокодеков, но это не значит, что flash player станет кодировать видео в H.264 и качество станет сравнимым с H.264, просто это позволит использовать flashphone с системами, которые работают с протоколом H.264. Соответственно будет обновлен наш продукт - Zingaya Media Server.

Will it be possible to make a 3G videocall to the flashphone & vice versa ?!!
Example : login with a webcam and sending a rtmp live streeam and receive a 3G videocall from a mobile & and be able to speak on both directions ?!!
You mean create a mini RTMP server ?!!

It’s possible… If you setup SIP account that make call from SIP to 3G mobile. Usually special gateway is required for that.

Cool , is it possible to trial-test the Zingaya media server & flashphone with video before buying the licenses ?!! We can test with our 3G Asterisk 3G gateway and see how it works.Thanks for the info

I’ve been wanting to switch over from traditional telephone service (Verizon) to VoIP (Vonage) for a while, and I jumped in with the release of the Linksys products. Here’s what I truly, really like about the Vonage service: Setup is a breeze, and PAP2 is petite, thus if you are travelling to a location with broadband service, you can take the package with you to make/receive calls. In addition, the Vonage service is full of characteristics that are either not available from the local telco, or would costed a fair fortune every last month.
