Flashphone AIR version released. The World’s first SIP softphone based on Adobe AIR technology.

Many Flashphone users (about 75000 now) like our browser-based SIP softphone as zero downloads and installations are required. But if you are using flashphone to receive incoming calls it’s not always convenient, that it’s browser-based and for the people, who likes our service, we created AIR version of Flashphone. Now you can install it in few click with Adobe AIR runtime (if it’s not installed yet) and get real SIP softphone which works in the same way like browser-based one, but you can minimize it to system tray and be sure that you are online and ready to receive calls. Sure there are lot of things to improve in this version, so we are expecting feedback from our users. Here is Install badge:

    Hi,

    After install FlashPhone air Application from this page and also Air too successfully, but found it’s SIP Info is empty ( Not yet configuration with FlashPhone ID), how to solve this problem?

    Recommended my voipaccount settings of flashphone ( from http://www.flashphone.ru/en/main/login) are ok, and outbound call is ok from web-flashphone. Why flashphone soft client can not set any voip provider when press SIP INFO key.

    Because SIP info is about accounts where SIP registration is enabled, if you check Register checkbox in account settings your account will appear in SIP info panel

    Bug 1:
    And I used my FP Id to register nonoh, and post widget embedded code on my web. then found web C2T still had ringtone sound when local UA picked C2T request and starting conversation both, this ringtone never stop. Why? Please fix or back a notice how to solve.

    Bug 2:

    It was failed P2P connection from remote client ( Nonoh Softclient) to request to Flashphone2, but it was successfully request from plashphne2 to remote nonoh client.

    Jason, how are you calling to flashphone? URI for SIP call to flashphone is sip:your_login@flashphone.ru , about bug 1 we will check - never had this issue with other services, maybe Nonoh softclient isn’t a best choice for VoIP.

    It’s not a bug of Flashphone, it’s bug of nonoh maybe, because Flashphone supports DTMF according to RFC2833

    After downloading AIR, I get a this message “Wrong number or URI”.
    I even tried calling a skype connection and get this message “Connection can’t be established
    Code: 502
    Reason: gethostbyname() has returned error (PJ_ERESOLVE)”

    How can disable AIR or uninstall it, then i could try calling again. Just to trouble shoot symptoms.
