NIN allowed to download their last album The Slip for free from their web site. Looks like Trent Reznor understood that it was time to find a new way to promote the music and he isn’t alone: Radiohead allowed to download their album for the cost downloader considered enough. After Radiohead Metallica’s drummer Lars Ulrich told that he thought it was the right idea.
